Mopa Alina Sooro

Biography :

Mopa A. Sooro is currently a lecturer at National University of Lesotho, teaching pharmacology and therapeutics. She is a graduate of the China Pharmaceutical University, Nanjing, China, where she researched on new cancer therapeutic strategies, involving the process of autophagy. She is also actively involved in cancer research in the country of Lesotho. There is currently (as of June 2021) no cancer treatment center in Lesotho, but in June 2020, Briston Myers Squibb (BMS) sponsored the start of the center in Lesotho and Ms, Sooro is in the team to make that happen.
